Tutoring, Consulting, and Advocacy
Tutoring Services
Appropriately leveled and targeted supplemental work (electronic and/or hard copy!) is provided to all of my tutoring clients upon request, free of charge! (For optional independent practice between sessions)
Individualized tutoring on a daily or weekly basis for all grade levels and developmental levels
Pre-teaching and review during summer and track outs/vacations
Assistance accessing and completing school work or homeschool assignments
Curriculum-based assessments to determine student academic levels, strengths, and needs
Progress monitoring and data collection toward individualized goals
Tutoring services are eligible expenses for the North Carolina Disabilities Grant and ESA! (I am an approved provider)
Attendance at your child's IEP meetings as an additional team member to help support and advocate for your family
Additional, supplemental electronic work or printable work packets provided, and feedback given (similar to "extra homework" - no live instruction)

Multisensory (Wilson) Reading Instruction
Appropriately leveled and targeted supplemental work (electronic and/or hard copy!) is provided to all of my tutoring clients upon request, free of charge! (For optional independent practice between sessions)
Wilson Reading System and/or Fundations to explicitly and systematically teach decoding and encoding (I am Wilson and Fundations trained!)*
Multisensory approach - follows the science of reading and is the gold standard in instruction for students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities
Record review and curriculum-based assessments (WADE) to determine student baseline
Progress monitoring and data collection embedded in each lesson
Written reports (based on program data) can be provided for school/teachers/related service providers

IEP Advocacy and Homeschool Consulting can also be provided

*Please note that the minimum recommendation for Wilson Reading System tutoring would be 2-3x a week for at least an hour.

Indirect Tutoring (Coaching) Services
Designed for families who want individualized support, but who are limited by geographical, financial, and/or scheduling factors
Perfect for families with inconsistent schedules, who live farther away from me, and/or who are on my waitlist
We will meet in person or virtually for consultations and assessments and then develop a plan for your child together
I provide baseline assessments, individualized recommendations, suggested schedules, access to resources/programs, progress monitoring, and detailed reports on an regular basis
Parent/adult supports the child while working on their tutoring assignments (online or hard copy)
Support can be tiered to meet any budget/time commitment

Homeschool/Consulting Services
Consultations with families to provide initial impressions, informal baseline assessments, and suggestions for successfully advocating for your child and working with his/her school team
Academic coaching - working with you and your child to develop study skills, strategies, and structures/routines to enhance success in school
Supplemental assessments and data collection for individualized goals
Creating tools and providing resources for progress monitoring toward goals at home
